We didn’t set out to manage a multi-dog zoo, it just sort of happened.

We are just a regular family that stepped out of the cookie-cutter suburban mindset and into a real world homestead. Along the way, we fell in love with powerful, mismatched, high drive working breeds. This site is the central hub for everything we log, build, and learn while keeping the circus running.

The Human Element

The Handler (Bob): Sarcastic, unfiltered, blunt, and usually the one testing gear to its absolute breaking point on the fence lines or out in the backcountry.

Heather: The logistics backbone of the operation, the goat manager, and the one diving deep into canine nutrition and health updates. Much more elegant than Bob.

The Active Pack

Astraea Nyx (Turkish Kangal): Our 90+ pound landrace guardian puppy. Calculated, independent, and the official supervisor of the entire property.

Scarlet and Kairos (Belgian Malinois): High velocity drive, permanent energy loops, and the reason we can’t have nice things.

Cerberus (German Shepherd): Highly social goofball, and a dog that actually lives up to his historical herding roots.

The Bull Terriers: The ultimate chaotic jokers of the yard.

The Goats and Chickens: The livestock keeping us grounded, busy, and constantly fixing infrastructure.

The Legacies

Bindi: A Black Mouth Cur mix. The ultimate matriarch. A bit bitchy, but aren’t we all.

Arya: A white long-coat German Shepherd. The stability, the protector, and the fun-lover. Would give her a bath and she’d immediately roll in mud. Hardest dog to keep clean.

Freyja: A “Turkish Boz”. The dog that taught us so much and the inspiration for this project. She forced us to learn the heritage, the breed reality, and the ugliness of the commercial “Boz” trend.

Valor: Freyja’s and Nyx’s best friend. The mutt who loved his people hard but hated everyone else in the world. Never a wanderer, always a homebody.

This is our lifestyle. No staging, no fake influencer scripts, no bullshit. Welcome to the yard, or circus to be honest.
